Operations report: Running Loki on different on-prem environments
Over the past two years, Red Hat Senior Software Engineer Robert Jacob has designed, prepared, and launched observability platforms using Prometheus and Loki on various on-premises environments across at least three major industries (banking, insurance, and telco), data centers, and edge. In this session, Robert will share the lessons learned on evaluating Loki sizing, getting the most out of Loki’s feature set on-premises while maintaining the benefit of its simple and robust operations model, and compiling an appropriate deployment package by constantly supporting upstream-only development around the Loki Operator. The talk will provide actionable insights for you to proceed with your own Loki on-premises production environments.
