Declare and respond to incidents from the IRM mobile app
The Grafana IRM mobile app allows you to manage and respond to incidents directly from your mobile device. You can stay informed and take action without needing to access a computer.
From the Home screen, you can see all incidents related to you. This includes incidents you’re assigned to or involved in, ensuring you stay updated on critical issues.
You can also navigate to Browse, then tap Incidents to explore all incidents:
- Mine: Incidents assigned to you.
- Active: Any ongoing incidents across your stack.
- All: A complete list of all incidents.
Access incident details
To view incident details, tap the incident to open its Details screen.
- Status and severity: Monitor the incident’s progress and updates.
- Join related meetings: If there is a meeting associated with the incident, tap the link to join the conversation.
- Incident chat: Access the dedicated Slack or Microsoft Teams channel for real-time collaboration.
- Open in browser: For additional information or actions, open the incident in your mobile browser.
- Post-incident reports: Open and review reports when available.
Declare an incident from the mobile app
Quickly declare a new incident directly from the Grafana IRM mobile app to ensure timely escalation and response to critical issues.
Declare an incident from the Home screen
To declare a new incident from your mobile app:
- Tap the + icon in the top right corner of the Home screen.
- Select Declare incident.
- Fill in the incident details, including title, description, and severity.
- Tap Create to declare the incident.
Declare an incident from an alert group
If an alert group should be escalated to an incident for more immediate attention, you can declare an incident directly from an alert group.
- Tap the Actions menu (three dots) on an alert group.
- Select Declare incident.
- Complete the incident form and tap Create.
The new incident appears in the incidents list on the Home screen and is linked in the alert group Details tab.
