StatusPage integration for Grafana IRM

The StatusPage integration for Grafana IRM helps you provide consistent and reliable updates to your customers during incidents. By linking your StatusPage.io account with Grafana IRM, you can automatically create StatusPage incidents when you declare incidents in IRM, ensuring timely communication with your users.

Before you begin

To use the StatusPage integration, you need:

A StatusPage.io account with administrative access
Your StatusPage ID (found in your StatusPage URL)
A StatusPage API key with appropriate permissions
Editor or Admin permissions in Grafana IRM

Configure the StatusPage integration

Navigate to IRM > Integrations in the Grafana menu
Select the Incident tab
Click the StatusPage tile
Click Install Integration
Enter your StatusPage ID and API key
Click Save

Configure automated actions

After installing the integration, configure it to automatically create StatusPage incidents:

From the StatusPage integration settings, click Configure Actions
Select Create a StatusPage incident as the action
Set the trigger to When an incident is declared
Optionally, customize additional settings such as incident visibility or components affected
Click Add Action

Using the integration

Once configured, the integration will:

Automatically create a StatusPage incident when an incident is declared in Grafana IRM
Link the StatusPage incident to your IRM incident for easy reference
Provide options to update the StatusPage incident as your incident progresses

You can also manually update the linked StatusPage incident from within the IRM incident management interface.
