Grafana Cloud is now available in AWS Marketplace
Grafana Labs is excited to announce that Grafana Cloud is now available in AWS Marketplace. With this new offering, existing AWS customers can procure, deploy, and scale the fully managed Grafana LGTM observability stack (Loki for logs, Grafana for visualization, Tempo for traces, Mimir for Prometheus metrics) with just a few clicks. By purchasing through AWS Marketplace, they benefit from simplified, consolidated billing, and in most cases, they can use their AWS customer commitments towards the purchase of Grafana Cloud.
In addition to supporting metrics, logs, and traces, Grafana Cloud in AWS Marketplace can be extended to include performance and load testing with Grafana Cloud k6 and incident response and management with Grafana Incident and Grafana OnCall. There is also the opportunity for organizations to leverage any number of data source plugins — including AWS offerings such as Amazon CloudWatch, Amazon Athena, Amazon OpenSearch Service, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Timestream, and AWS X-Ray, as well as third-party tools like Elasticsearch, Graphite, and InfluxDB — to create a powerful centralized view of all their data in Grafana Cloud.
With this new offering, Grafana users can now access the fully managed Grafana Cloud observability stack across all the major cloud providers. Along with AWS Marketplace, Grafana Cloud is available through Microsoft Azure Marketplace and Google Cloud Marketplace. Additionally, Grafana Labs has partnerships with Tencent Cloud and Alibaba Cloud for managed Grafana offerings in the Asia-Pacific region.
Today, there are more than one million active Grafana installations and counting, as Grafana continues to grow in popularity as the operational dashboard technology and frontend of choice for observability around the world.
“We are always inspired by the use cases we see, all the interesting problems that people use Grafana to solve, and all the interesting data that [the community] visualizes from a variety of different databases,” Grafana Labs CEO and Co-founder Raj Dutt said during the keynote at GrafanaCONline 2022.
One of Grafana Labs’ core missions has always been to meet users wherever they are to enable them to deploy Grafana where it makes the most sense for their infrastructure, whether that’s on a local server or in one of the major public cloud platforms.
“We continually evolve our relationships to create simple paths for our users to connect to Grafana offerings wherever they are,” said Ash Mazhari, VP of Corporate Development at Grafana Labs. “Being available in AWS Marketplace was a natural next step for us to offer frictionless options in the cloud, and we look forward to building on this relationship to bring expanded observability capabilities to our mutual customers.”
