ObservabilityCON: What to know before you go
It’s almost that time! ObservabilityCON is coming to New York on Nov. 2, and we want you to be prepared so you get the most out of the day. Here’s what you need to know if you plan to attend — in person or virtually.
ObservabilityCON: All you need to know
How to sign up: ObservabilityCON, including the pre-conference workshops, is sold out. However, you can register to watch the keynote virtually starting at 9:30 a.m. ET. If you’re still eager to join us in person, add your name to the waitlist, and we’ll notify you if and when space becomes available.
Where to go: ObservabilityCON will be held in New York City at etc.venues located at 360 Madison Ave., between 45th and 46th streets. The space, which is on the fifth floor, is one of three that etc.venues operates in Midtown, so be sure you’re headed to the right one before you go.
Once you enter the building, etc.venues staff will direct you to the fifth floor, where our team of Grafanistas will be waiting to check you in. There will also be space to leave your personal belongings.
When to get there: Registration and the Expo doors will open at 8:30 a.m. ET, and the keynote will kick off at 9:30 a.m. ET. Activities end at 6 p.m. ET.
What to expect: We’ve got a full day of activities planned for you. It starts with the opening keynote and continues with nine exciting breakout sessions on various aspects of observability. It’s your chance to hear about the latest releases from Grafana Labs and learn from observability experts, including speakers from Adobe, Clearco, Itau, JPMorgan Chase, Just Eat, and Wells Fargo. You’ll come away inspired to try new strategies and tools, so be sure to check the agenda to plan your day ahead of time.
In addition, the Expo will be open throughout the day, with Grafana Labs’ technical experts available at the Demo Stations and the Ask the Experts bar to help answer your questions.
There will also be lunch, as well as light snacks and beverages available throughout the day. ObservabilityCON will conclude with drinks and appetizers at a hosted networking reception starting at 5 p.m. ET.
How to engage online: In addition to in-person networking, you can also join the ObservabilityCON Slack channel on the Grafana Labs Community Slack to meet and mingle with fellow open source observability fans.
