Current location/time zone: I am in Atlanta, Georgia, in the U.S. Eastern timezone, daylight savings and all that.

What do you do at Grafana Labs? I am a developer on the plugins team. I do frontend and backend development.

What open source projects do you contribute to? Does Grafana count? I’ve probably actually only contributed to an open source project once despite the fact that I have attended an open source conference. I love the idea. I’ve just not found a project I was super passionate about and I’ve also got time limitations.

What are your GitHub and Twitter handles? On GitHub, I am shavonn, and on Twitter, I am @DevWithClaws.

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time, I spend time with my family, watch obscene amounts of Netflix/Hulu, play with our dog, and try new things.

Do you like to code in silence, with music or ambient noise on your headphones, or with people talking around you? I either code with my noise-canceling headphones on, listening to music or an audio book, or I have Netflix on in the background.
